Westside Senior Center Board of Directors

Nestled behind Westover City Hall, the Westside Senior Center is an wonderful community hub run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Offering a wide range of activities designed to engage and entertain, the center welcomes members aged 50 and above with an annual membership fee of just $10. This membership includes access to a fully equipped fitness center.

The center boasts a full kitchen, a large dining area for card games, bingo, and other events, and a cozy TV room ideal for West Virginia University football and basketball watch parties. The exercise room features the latest cardio machines, Nautilus weights, and even a pool table.

The Westside Senior Center also hosts knitting groups, food collections for a local church pantry, and care package assemblies for troops stationed abroad. Weekly activities and annual trips to various festivals, fairs, and cities are organized, ensuring there's always something exciting happening. BINGO EVERY WEDNESDAYS
Doors will open at 4:00PM with the first game promptly at 6:00PM. We use single use bingo books with a dauber. You can play any number of books as you want. One book for 20 games is $5, 2 books $10, 3 books $15, 4 books $20, etc. We use daubers and have them for sale, or you can borrow one for the evening. Our concession stand will open at 5:00PM and close at 6:00PM. We will have hotdogs (with or without chili) and another feature sandwich each night. Also available are nachos with cheese, soft pretzels, chips, candy, and assorted sodas.
DINNER AND CONCERT IN THE PARK
On Friday, July 11, there will be a Dinner & Concert in the Park event at the Westside Senior Center Pavilion featuring music by Nic of Tyme. Dinner will be from 5:00PM to 6:00PM. Music starts at 6:00PM. Dinner will be pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans, and desserts. Donations are appreciated. View the flyer.
