Charles A. “Alli” Jackson
Charles A. “Alli” Jackson, born in Osage, WV has resided in Westover for the past 35 years. After graduation from University High School, Alli served in the United Army as a Flight Operations Coordinator. Upon completing his tour of duty at Fort Monroe, Virginia he returned to Morgantown. While working for local financial institutions (including the Small Business Administration in Clarksburg, WV) he obtained his Associates Degree in Business Management from the West Virginia Career College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Fairmont State University. After years in the financial community Alli changed employment paths and worked for two local non-profits, The Shack Neighborhood House as a Junior Volunteer Coordinator and the Connecting Link working to secure housing for homeless citizens on Monongalia County.
Alli and his spouse of 47 years, Sharon, had the fortune of raising two wonderful sons, Shannon and Casey, in Westover and are blessed with four grandchildren. As a youth he played baseball with WesMon Little League. In his adult life he co-founded the Westside Basketball League and coached many local youths. He was also a certified basketball referee with the WVSSAC. Alli is honored to serve the citizens of Westover as a Councilman for the First Ward.
